I have been listening quite a bit to Downey To Lubbock. The second song is Silverlake. Jimme Dale left Lubbock for LA and was living in Silverlake, while Dave was living near Echo Park. They both were going to the Ashgrove for the blues, but never met. Silverlake sort of reminds me of a stripped down Warren Zevon and I am reminded of Carmelita a bit.
